The Tour of the Gila started this morning at 8:00am with the "Silver City to Mogollon Road Race". The Mogollon Stage has the longest single climb of the five day stage race (2,100 feet).
The Mellow Johnny's team of Lance Armstrong and last years winner Levi Leipheimer is back and so are the world's news crews. Levi finished in first today and Lance in 22nd in Mens Pro 1. Westley Richards came in first for Mens Pro 2. Dean Haas is leading Mens Pro 3. Frank Zoldak is on top for Men 40+ and Mara Abbott is the Womens front runner.
